Privacy Policy The scope of this agreement
Distribution Partner Employers, organizations, municipalities, schools that acquired Deedster in order to offer Deedster to staff, members, citizens or students.
- PURPOSE
Deedster is a digital platform for sustainable consumption and lifestyle. Deedster helps its users adjust their consumption behavior to a more climate-smart lifestyle. Through an on-boarding process where Deedster does a mapping of the user's behavioral pattern, the User is presented a personal carbon footprint. With the imprint as the basis, the User is then challenged to perform “deeds”, simple actions to take small steps towards a more climate-smart lifestyle. In Deedster, the user can receive personalized offers from the Company's partners, which are adapted to the user's behavior, needs or lifestyle.
- GENERAL
These conditions govern the use of the Deedster application. By using Deedster, you agree to and accept these terms. If you do not agree to the terms, you shall cease using the application and delete it.
The Company reserves the right to adjust and update these User Terms. Any such adjustment will be available in Deedster and through your continued use of the Application you agree to the updated Terms of Use. Users are asked to read the Terms of Use each time Deedster is used.
- REGISTRATION
To use Deedster, you will need to go through a registration process and answer a few questions about yourself. In order to utilize all the features of Deedster, it is important that you provide as accurate and up-to-date information as possible.
- USER LICENSE
The Company hereby grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to access and use the Company's software. Deedster is made available to you through a mobile application. The Company will update the application, each such update is included in the license described here. You may not transfer any rights or access to Deedster.
If you have obtained a license to use Deedster through a Distribution Partner, you will have access to Deedster's full functionality as long as your Distribution Partner and the Company have a valid Deedster User License Agreement.
- PROTECTED CONTENT
It is expressly prohibited to modify, reproduce, duplicate, copy, print, translate, transfer, distribute, sell, rent, lend or otherwise exploit the contents of Deedster for commercial purposes without the written permission of the Company. All content in Deedster is protected by the Copyright Act and other statutory protection.
You may only use Deedster for the express purpose described above.
- USER'S OBLIGATIONS
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the login information required to gain access to Deedster and not sharing such information with third parties. You are responsible for keeping your group code and password secret, which together with your username, constitutes your login details to Deedster.
You may not use other people's information and or log in to an account that is not intended for you. You are always responsible for your account, regardless of whether anyone else has used it, with or without your permission. It is forbidden to copy, use or forward any other User's user information. If you find that someone has used your account information, contact Deedster immediately (info@deedster.com). You are responsible for entering correct user information when registering with Deedster. Users who breach the agreement can be suspended from Deedster at any time and without notice and have their account deleted.
- PERSONAL DATA AND SECRECY
All information you share in Deedster regarding your life patterns will be handled under the confidentiality of the Company.
The company complies with the rules which, according to the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), intend to protect the user's privacy. The Privacy Policy provides information on how we process your personal information and how we protect your privacy when using Deedster.
- COSTS
Deedster is free of charge for you as a User. Traffic charges to a mobile operator or Internet service provider may apply. Through Deedster, Users have the opportunity to access services, products and offers from the Company's partners. If these offers come at a cost, the User will in such cases be specifically informed. Purchases of services or products from the Company's partners are not covered by these Terms of Use.
- OFFERS
The Company's affiliates may direct offers to Users via Deedster, e-mail or otherwise. Marketing directed directly to Users must comply with applicable laws and ethical guidelines. By creating an account with Deedster, Users agree that the Company's partners can direct offers. Offers from the Company's partners have terms other than Deedster. Users are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these terms.
- ACCESSIBILITY AND TECHNICAL ERRORS
The company strives for Deedster to be free from technical errors but unfortunately cannot guarantee this. Nor can the company guarantee that Deedster works flawlessly in all situations. Features can, for example, on a few occasions, shut down for maintenance, update and/or for any other reason be out of order.
- EXCLUSION
The information provided in Deedster, such as questions, answers, deeds and recommendations, has been designed based on the best intention and on the overall purpose of reducing climate impact. The company has involved and consulted experts and up-to-date research. The company is constantly updating the information in Deedster to make content as accurate as possible. However, the Company cannot guarantee complete reliability or accuracy regarding all information presented on Deedster.
The company has no responsibility in decisions Users make based on the use of Deedster. Nor is the Company responsible for decisions when purchasing services or goods from the Company's partners or from other external parties.
13. TRANSFER
Users may not assign, sublicense or otherwise transfer any of the rights under these Terms of Use.
- ACCOUNT CLOSURE
Users may terminate their account at any time and discontinue their use of Deedster by contacting the Company at support@deedster.com.
- DISCLAIMER AND LIABILITY
The Company has the right at any time to suspend a User and terminate an account that violates these User Terms or uses Deedster in a manner that could cause the Company or a third-party damage.
Disputes arising from these User Terms or the use of Deedster shall be settled under Swedish law and by the Swedish court.
- MISCELLANEOUS
The Company has the right to transfer its rights and obligations under these User Terms.

We protect your privacy. You should be able to feel secure when you entrust us with your personal information. Therefore, we have established this policy which is based on current data protection legislation and clarifies how we protect your rights and your privacy. The purpose of this policy is to let you know how we process your personal data, what we use it for, who can access it under what conditions and how you can exercise your rights.
Swedish Development Group 12 AB, which provides Deedster, is responsible for personal data in accordance with these conditions and is responsible for processing in accordance with current legislation. It is important that you read this policy before using Deedster.
3. INFORMATION COLLECTED
We collect information when you download and start using Deedster. When you create your user account, we link the information to you as a user. The linked information refers to:
- Login details - Your email address and name and password to Deedster.
- Information about your lifestyle - for example, what kind of accommodation you have, what your electricity contracts look like, what your route back and forth to work looks like, and what your food and shopping habits look like.
We collect the above information so that we can calculate your carbon footprint and present individually customized Deeds and a personalized user experience to you as a user.
4. INFORMATION THAT MAY BE SHARED
The Company may share information with third parties who process data on behalf of the Company. This is only done so that we can deliver a working application to you. However, high security and confidentiality are always observed when handling personal data.
The company only cooperates with partners who process personal data within the EU/EEA or with companies that maintain the same level of protection as within the EU/EEA.
If you have obtained a license to use Deedster through a Distribution Partner and participate in a Deedster Challenge, some data may be used to generate statistics for the Distribution Partner. For rewarding purposes, the distribution partner will, if you create an account, know your e-mail address, username, earned Impact Points, received Badges and number of Deeds done but all other statistics are handled by the Company and then irrevocably delivered anonymously and aggregated. The distribution partner is not considered as the client of the statistics, but as the distributor of the statistics to the participants in Deedster Challenge.
5. HOW WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The company processes personal data in accordance with current legislation. This means that the Company will not store personal data for longer than necessarily needed to fulfill the agreement.
6. RIGHTS
You have several rights in relation to your personal data stored by the Company. You may request that your data is deleted or that its use is restricted by contacting the Company. You may request an extract of your personal data that the Company stores. You may refrain from receiving direct marketing communications from the Company at any time by unsubscribing from news releases.
7. PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT
The Company processes your personal data mainly for the purposes stated below, and for any additional purposes stated at the time of collection;
- To provide the Deedster application;
- To personalize and enhance the Deedster experience;
- To send you notifications (such as push messages or emails) regarding Deedster;
- To inform of Deedster updates and associated User Terms and Privacy Policy;
- To analyze your use of Deedster for the purpose of improving and developing the service;
- To ensure the technical functionality of Deedster;
- To prevent the use of the application in violation of the Deedster User Terms and to prevent and investigate such use;
- To generate statistics for the scoreboard published in Deedster or the Power BI report view where anonymized, aggregated non-traceable user data is provided for the benefit to the employer;
8. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
The Company will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose personal data beyond the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless the Company is required to do so as a result of a court decision to comply with other rules (such as fiscal or GDPR) or upon express consent to such disclosure.
This does not preclude the Company from using personal data assistants who process personal data on behalf of the Company in accordance with written personal data access agreements and instructions. Personal data assistants who gain access to personal data (for example, when the Company uses a third party to obtain address information or store information on a server), is not given any right to use personal data for purposes other than those stated in this personal data policy, and will primarily to be used to the extent necessary to provide Deedster.
9. MISCELLANEOUS
The Company has the right to transfer its rights and obligations under this Privacy Policy.
